We were a group of 5 a lovely restaurant with nice surroundings. Service wasn't efficient and very friendly. All the food arrived at same time which was wonderful as we were sharing dishes ,was beautifully presented and tasted divine. We would recommend this restaurant and definitely return.

I have quite a tricky relationship with mussels. I absolutely adore them — but only when they’re prepared properly. There should be no unpleasant smell whatsoever, and the sauce needs to be made with good-quality cream and wine. I honestly can’t think of another place in the UK, not just on the Isle of Wight, that comes close to the mussels Baywatch serves at its summer dinners. They are genuinely exceptional. Definitely come and try them for yourself — you won’t be disappointed.

Booking was for 12 family members to celebrate my son’s 21st. Easy to book, with a reminder email the day before. Greeted by friendly host who explained the system, offers on drink and took payments. No problems with splitting the bill. We were taken to our table. Restaurant was clean and well lit. Very quiet as sat lunchtime. Huge choice of dishes that all looked great. Staff were happy to bring our birthday cake with lit candles and joined the celebration.

Food was excellent and staff were great. Not the place for a romantic dinner as lots of children running around.
