“Tankuma” was born on the banks of the Takase River in Kyoto, famous for “Takase Fune” at the beginning of Showa period. Takasegawa-suji is a place where Ikushu restaurants serving seasonal river fish were lined up in the Edo period, but our “Tankuma” has been working hard since then. Everyone was incredibly kind and welcoming, creating such a warm atmosphere where they got everyone talking and connecting to each other and the staff the food was truly out of this world!
