    We ( a couple) went to The Highland Laddie on 19/9/26 for a birthday meal. We lived the ambience, and the food. Service and staff were great. Good beer too! My only slight negative feedback was that when I went to the bar after the meal to pay, I was just told the overall price but not given an itemised bill to check. I paid it , and did not want to query not having the bill as the staff were v busy, but did not know whether this included a tip for the staff, as I wanted to do so. However, we will be back !

    GO HERE!!! One of if not the best sauce bordelaise I’ve had here at home in the UK. Come for the Comte croquettes, stay for the rest of the menu (especially the scallop with boudin noir) and stay even longer because Joe looks after you perfectly. Impeccable cooking and perfect service. Come here. Come often. Be happy.

    Fantastic restaurant with a great selection of dishes on the menu. Small and intimate venue with bar stools that allow you to look into the kitchen. Service and drinks were also exceptional

    Always a lovely experience at Escape. The Sunday lunch is one of the best I’ve tried in Leeds. Definitely worth a visit any time. Staff are lovely food is delicious
