   My girlfriend and I decided to celebrate our anniversary at Aiko, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. One of the most important things I look for in a great restaurant is quality service, and Aiko truly delivered. Our waitress was incredibly attentive, and the staff consistently refilled our water without us having to ask—a small touch that really stood out. The food was exceptionally fresh and so tender it practically melted in our mouths. If I had to recommend one dish, it would be the Kinoko (King Trumpet Mushroom)—easily one of the highlights of the night. To top it all off, Aiko surprised us with a complimentary strawberry matcha meringue dessert to celebrate our anniversary. It was such a thoughtful gesture, and we truly appreciated it. I’ll definitely be returning and would highly recommend Aiko to anyone looking for a special dining experience.

   Aiko is our favorite Japanese Restaurant in Houston and there is plenty of competition. We love the small venue, outstanding service and every dish is exceptional.

   Best sushi you’ll ever eat! Fresh fish, creative rolls, killer cocktails equals super tasty. Attentive service at this hipster gem. Ask about their rubber ducks and check out their bamboo garden.    Had high expectations for this place but honestly not what we were looking for. The place is way too loud we had to yell the whole time so we hear each other. Service was extremely slow considering we ordered mostly sashimi. Took 2 hours from start to finish. The fish were fresh but can’t really justify paying $24 a piece for duck liver? The seasoning from rice to hot foods is on the sweeter side I’m not sure if it’s adjusted to fit American taste but definitely not traditional Japanese style I was looking for. I would not come back.

   The food was amazing for a great price. Their happy hour omakase came with a good amount of high quality food at a great price point. Service was attentive and constantly checking on us.

    Celebrated my 30th here with the $125 omakase! I felt celebrated by staff and satisfied with my meal. Would definitely recommend!
