   As always, the food at Picos was delicious; however, it took an extraordinary amount of time to have our order taken and then for the food to be delivered. Service was lackadaisical at best and downright neglectful at worst. I will be back, of course, because this is our go-to restaurant for Mexican food. I hope this was just an "off day".

   I have been going to Picos since I came to Houston (so I know the old Bellaire location!). I enjoyed the menu and the quality of the food

   Do not go for Easter brunch. Food was subpar at $53.00 pp and they failed to tell us gratuity would be added. The server received a $69.00 tip for bringing us our drinks and we had to ask for refills. Will definitely not be going back !

   This was our first experience at Picos and thought we'd try the Easter Buffet so we could try a number of their dishes. My wife and I thought what we tasted on the Buffet was good it wasn't as good some other authentic Mexican Restaurants we occasionally go. So the Question we always ask ourselves, would you eat it again and go back, and sorry, the Answer is No.

   Loved the Lenten menu and the soft shell crab was excellent. And the margaritas…were great.

   The buffet was excellent with lots of brunch choices. The service was great and we will definitely join them for brunch again.

   We came for my dad's 65th birthday. Our waiter Bruno was attentive and knowledgeable. The harp and guitarist were pleasant and entertaining. I really enjoyed the vibe. Drinks were great!! The food was a bit lacking in flavor but overall filling.

   This is not your usual Mexican restaurant. Lots of unique dishes and preparations. Service is great, portions generous, drinks tasty.

    A solid choice for good quality Mexican and Tex-Mex, a bit on the pricey side for what you get and a few of the dishes are a bit disappointing—I would stay away from their Veracruzana—but nonetheless a place we frequent for nice family meals.
