Nestled along the shimmering waterfront of the Cayman Islands, Bacaro is the first of its kind — a Venetian-inspired tapas restaurant that blends the romance of Northern Italy with the relaxed elegance of island life. Named after the traditional Venetian wine bars, Bacaro invites guests to indulge in small plates bursting with bold, coastal flavors, handcrafted cocktails, and fine wines, all with an unforgettable water view.

Our menu pays homage to Venice’s rich culinary heritage, offering a modern twist on cicchetti — shareable bites meant to be enjoyed slowly, with great company.     Bàcaro welcomes you to our weekday lunch special. Each week, the chef will curate a fresh, new 3-course menu. For the appetizer and main course, you'll have the option to choose from a variety of a meat, seafood, or vegetarian dish. To finish, there's a range of delicious dessert options to choose from. Additionally, you'll be served a glass of carefully selected wine or a bottle of local beer to complement your meal. All for the affordable price of KYD $35. Served Tuesday to Friday 11:30am-3pm.

    The service and ambience were both excellent!! The setting is wonderful. The food was tasty but the portions were tiny and overpriced, especially the children’s meal.

    Our food was fantastic and our service was perfect. We were seated right away for our reservations. We had a nice view. The evening was as lovely and dessert topped it off!

    Loved our experience at Bacaro, from the manager to the waiter .. excellent service! Loved the views of the water and marina; and the food was excellent and well prepared ! Highly recommend !

    One of our favorite places in Grand Cayman! Beautiful restaurant set on a canal….great outdoor dining! Delicious drinks and a wide selection of small plates! The skewered shrimp and potato croquettes are some of the best! Yummy desserts rounded out a wonderful evening!

    Bacaro is an excellent choice for a beautiful dining experience. Atmosphere, food and service were all outstanding. We highly recommend Bacaro for fine dining.

    An excellent meal with deviled eggs, tuna tater and beef cheek along with an excellent glass of Prisoner. Unfortunately there was no DJ as advertised and although the background music box music was ok it was disappointing not to have had the DJ. However, Sitting on the terrace was cool and it was a really nice experience. The service was good as always. We consistantly return, being residents, and the menue never disappoints.

We're glad to hear you enjoyed the meal, wine, and service, and that the terrace made for a nice evening. We’re sorry to hear there was some confusion about the DJ. We did have a DJ scheduled and playing that evening (Saturday 28 July) from 5:30-8:30pm , though depending on where you were seated on the terrace, it may not have been as noticeable. We truly appreciate the feedback and will look into how we can make that experience more consistent across all areas.
