Ciao Bella does everything that it says on the tin, plus more. This is a big-hearted, lively and welcoming family-run Italian restaurant in Leed's Brewery Wharf and Victoria Quays district that is perfect for parties, business lunches with colleagues, and I'm-craving-carbs kind of days because this is arguably some of the best pasta in town. The stylish neutral décor and stainless steel bar add to the modern-brasserie vibe, and the Ciao Bella menu is filled with crowd favourites such as the chicken and spinach lasagne, the fillet steak on a potato rosti with crispy pancetta and a Barolo reduction, and the irresistible baked plum and almond Tuili Tian with an amaretto and plum dressing.

I went there today along with a close friend who has Asperges. Id promised to treat him as I had a voucher and booked a table accordingly. Both of us had been to gay pride so were feeling quite good with the day. Id still got a plastic drink with Cider when we approached the restaurant (everone in the City was walking round with plastic cups). I asked my friend to stay outside whilst i went into the toilets and checked our booking. When i left the toilets I saw my friend run outside crying. when I asked him what had happened the Manager had seen him outside holding the plastic cup and without asking what he was doing simpy told him to get off the premises (even though he was simply sitting outside waiting for me to return from the toilet then i would have finished the drink off the premises and gone in for our meal had this not happened). He told me he was frightened and said that he was always being rejected! When I approached the Manager to explain that there was a misunderstanding and that my friend had asperges and was confused he said hed never heard of Asperges but couldnt care less any way. At this point I asked for a refund for my voucher and he flatly refused. Fortunately several people at tables near by had heard and seen the impact of the Manager on my friend and gave me their details. I was so annoyed that this sot of thing can happen and would welcome any one elses remarks on this Manager. His name was 'Remo Roversi'. Needless to say I am going to contact the Asperges Society as this was blatant discrimination and should not be allowed in todays 'Equal World! I shall never dine here again until the place is taken over by new management. Please let me know if anyone else has had a similar experience. David

First time at this restaurant and we would go again the staff were good nice and friendly and just the right amount of time between courses .

A little bit Off the Beaten Track but once we found it really glad we got to eat there.Staff lovely,food very nice and a good choice on the menu,good value for money

Food was lovely however very strange as had a Groupon and had booked through this app but advised I couldnt do both eith could use the Groupon and lose the booking or use the booking and pay full price.... Very bizarre

Terrible service! We were told at the end of the meal that we didn't qualify for The pizza/pasta offer of the day because we had booked via Open Table! The board didn't state this though and neither does your website. Very disappointed, won't be back and won't use Open Table again.

Restaurant very good really friendly staff and good service. My only criticism was because I had booked through open table we could not choose from the lunch time menu. In other words we could not take advantage of 2 courses for one price or 3 for a slightly more expensive. We had to choose a la carte. When ask ed why he said because the restaurant had to pay open table.

We were lucky enough to be able to dine outside in the sunshine for our pre-theatre meal. All six of us thoroughly enjoyed our food and wine and were amazed at how reasonable the bill was. Friendly and very efficient staff helped make a most pleasant and memorable evening.

Booked through Open Table 30 minutes before arriving. On arrival the manager told us that he had not received the booking and would not accept it via Open Table - but could give us a table anyway. I suggest that they don't offer late bookings via Open Table if they are not willing to honour them. Food was ok, fairly average. Disappointing pizzas - little topping. We had a very large all women group on the next table who shouted and screeched throughout our meal. Moving around, taking photos etc. Many diners appeared to be a little annoyed by them dominating the restaurant. I wouldn't recommend. Plenty of other places to go in Leeds. Shame as it is in a lovely building and location.

All our waiters, and waitresses were brilliant on the eve of 14th February from 2100. Ambience was brilliant. Good value for money also. We also loved the Rose we had for 16.99. We will recommend.
