I am highly disappointed and extremely unsatisfied. I asked to speak with the manager, but one never came over. The moment I walked in, I mentioned that I had a reservation with OpenTable but wasn't checked in because I received an email notification that my reservation had been canceled. The host tried to seat me under a ceiling fan, and I asked to be seat at booth table, she said that area doesn't have a server. Then, moments later, she sat a couple via the booth seating, then another a couple at a booth table and another. This was displeasing. My pasta had disturbing crunchy bits in it, as if the shell fish wasn't washed fully and properly before placing it into the pasta dish. This lady who was seated in the dining area approached three tables of patrons, including myself, asking us to help her pay for her food. I didn't know what was going on and didn't expect something like this via an establishment like High Tide. The customer service experience was unpleasant, and the hosting staff needs to be retrained immediately, especially if they're unable to handle OpenTable reservations matters properly. Overall, this dining experience was unsatisfying.

Tide Roast was excellent; not too salty, sugary, fatty or rich—just delicious. Scallop and risotto dish was also excellent. We will certainly return to High Tide, probably often. Cocktails were generous and very good. This is a first class restaurant in Goodyear, something we have very few of.

The food is delicious. Our party's orders ranged from grilled sea bass, to sushi rolls, to an enchilada loaded with fish. The lobster bisque and salads were great as well. Our servers were attentive and professional. Super place for all occasions.

Ask for a booth. We sat under a fan in the big room and we were freezing and got severe runny eyes. Sun was coming in through the cracks in the screens and I couldn’t see. Had to keep moving my chair around the table. Liked getting a sample of the food to know what to order. Crabby hour food looks good. Very noisy but by 7pm it was cleared out. Food was ok.

We have been here two previous times. Tonight was not a good experience. We had reservations but were told it would be 15 minutes wait. MANY empty tables and booths. After being seated it took literally 15 minutes to be given water. Over 30 minutes for waiter to come over. Once ordering, wine and appetizers took another 15 to 20 minutes. Main courses were not hot. Another ordered drink never arrived. If this had been our first experience we would never return. Disaster of a night. Very disappointed !!

The service was absolutely terrible! It took at least 10 minutes for our server to even greet us at the table and introduce herself and ask if she could bring water. It took probably 20 minutes to get our drinks. When we wanted to order she was nowhere to be found. Then, she disappeared altogether! Another server took over but never said that Jenna went home or that she was our new server. We talked to 2 different managers. The first one was absolutely useless. The second one said she would take “some” off our bill. Well, she took a whopping $8 off our $225 bill! We left no tip. It’s really too bad because the food is very good and it’s quiet. We will NOT return.

Our community was very excited to see a seafood restaurant arrive into Goodyear, and nearby. I enjoyed the chopped salad, and the seafood enchiladas. My husband had the clam chowder soup, which he would not order again (too flour-y) and the crab cake had too much breading. Our concern is the wait staff. The staff needs to be properly trained, from picking up glasses with a tray (as opposed to stacking them upon the arm) to ordering the salad for two, and the kitchen divide the salad into two bowls at the kitchen (brought one large bowl without another bowl) to clearing the table off before the check was presented. Many of our residents from PebbleCreek are concerned about the staff's actions when dining.

We have been to the High Tide many times in Gilbert and love it. Unfortunately the food wasn’t nearly as good as the one there. The calamari was over done and a third of the size. The hot pots were different also. The broth was think and wasn’t what was expected as I have had them several times at the other restaurant. We waited a long time for drinks and then our food. I’m hoping these things all improve.
