We had a wonderful experience and dinner at Murphy’s last night, their staff were all very friendly, the manager Dave even stopped by our table to check on us and see if there was anything we might need, overall everything was perfect! Highly recommend you give them a try! We definitely will return!

Firstly I love Murphy's. Been eating there for 25-30 years when I hit Prescott. My rating is based on this specific visit. Our server Kendall was fantastic, super friendly wonderful attitude. She was more than willing to send the meal back and get the manager for me but I didn't want to go there. We were tired and hungry but she did make the effort, so more kudo's to her. Our food on the other hand was disappointing. Ribeye was about 1/2 inch thick. Reminded me of something you would get at Sizzler. Rosemary mashed potatoes were dry and served as though from a ice cream scoop, which personally I think is bad form for a nice restaurant. Green beans soggy. Each and every time I've been to Murphy's in the past the steak and food were great. It's always been known to me as a steak house so to receive such a miserable skinny steak filled with fat (ribeyes are a bit fatty but this was rediculous) was a bummer. I would recommend they find a new supplier or up the price a bit so they can serve thicker more flavorable cuts. Maybe something has changed here in terms of ownership or management? I will go again in hopes this was a one off visit, however my comments stand. My wife who is the most forgiving person on the planet was also very disappointed in the meal. Lastly, had the crab cakes appetizer and they were fantastic. Cheers again to Kendall, who made our night, but thumbs down on this particular visit. Do better chef, do better.

We went to dinner at Murphy’s for our anniversary. We ordered prime rib, which had a lot of fat and no flavor. The baked potatoes was under cooked. We asked for our desserts to go. I ordered carrot cake and when I got home, they had given me cheese cake. My husband ordered bread pudding and it was not good. We used to love going to Murphy’s, but we won’t be going back after this dining experience. My husband called Murphy’s and spoke with Dave, the manager. He was very arrogant, did not ask our name or phone number, and offered no viable options to offset our terrible dining experience.

A step above Applebees. Escargot was chewy, lamb was tiny. When my husband book he clicked the birthday button, there was no acknowledgment of that. He ordered his steak medium rare but it was closer to blue.

Early dinner with friends They ordered individually while we have the 2 for 1 . Food was very good and per ordered. Wait staff seemed somewhat stressed as such was not as attentive as we would prefer. Table was soon cluttered with empty dishes that needed removed.

Went here for the special Easter brunch menu. The Easter drinks were pretty bad sadly..my husband wouldn't even finish his. The drinks felt like they were trying to be creative, but missed the mark. I wish I would've just gotten a beer. Even the food menu was hard to pick from because there wasn't anything that really made us excited....and it was Easter. When the food did arrive it was ok. The vibe in the bar/restaurant is really nice and fun. But I wouldn't go here again to eat when there are many other places in Prescott that offer amazing food.

A very nice restaurant... fabulous historic building with great atmosphere. Good service. My husband ordered the filet and said it was excellent. I ordered the lamb chops/ medium rare and they were well done. Not sure what the so called "salad" that they were served over was...maybe quinoa. Not very attractive and did not compliment the lamb.
