Beers

• Trooper IPA

  ABV: 6.2%, IBU: 60. Copper colored, with a strong hop aroma of grapefruit, citrus, even pine (in addition to the hops bitterness). Medium malt flavor is present resulting in a crisp, dry beer with balanced character. We brew the Trooper IPA because we like hops! And lots of them! This is currently our best selling brew.

• Horizon Hefeweizen

  ABV: 5.5%, IBU: 15. A straw colored beer - decidedly fruity in aroma with hints of clove, nutmeg, vanilla, and banana. Our Hefe is brewed with German malts, German hops, German yeast and left unfiltered for a taste just like the Hefes from the "land of the lederhosen".

• Vanilla Porter

  ABV: 5.5%, IBU: 30. A very dark to black color, with roast malt & chocolate caramel flavor- this was a traditional English Porter, until we started spiking our casks with vanilla beans- and the crowd went wild! So, Vanilla Porter it is! The malty sweetness is in harmony with a sharp bitterness of black malt and the vanilla.

• Awesome Amber Ale

  ABV: 5.2%, IBU: 25. A gorgeous amber color- medium hops and malt flavors with slightly fruity overtones, JUST RIGHT. Our Amber Ale is brewed with all American ingredients, making it a perfect pairing for most foods.

• Lightrail Cream Ale

  ABV: 4.9%, IBU: 17. Golden straw in color, this is a crisp and refreshing lighter ale. Our Cream Ale is very flavorful, with pale malt sweetness and a nice creamy finish. We brew this ale using a warm fermentation and cold lagering- perfect for folks who enjoy light ale or domestic beer.

• Stinger Pale Ale

  ABV: 5.2%, IBU: 35. A tribute to the Pale Ales of the Pacific Northwest, our Stinger Pale Ale has a lovely deep golden color and lots of floral, citrusy hops. This ale has a very balanced and delicate aroma.

• Red Flash

  ABV: 6.0%, IBU: 60. Rich and red in color, this American Red Ale has a nice complex character from organic German Red X malt. Combined with strong, aromatic American hops from the Pacific Northwest, giving it silky undertones with tropical, floral, lemon and grapefruit characteristics. Our Braumeister, Uwe, recently developed Red Flash to complement our other 14 beers on tap. It has rapidly become one of our staples.

• Tanline Brown

  ABV: 4.7%, IBU: 17. Golden brown in color, this traditional English Brown Ale makes superb drinking. The complex mix of six malts is balanced with traditional Willamette hops, giving this nice beer a mild and pleasant aroma that is slightly spicy with floral undertones. Perfect for sipping under the Arizona sun.

  We are very proud to offer a wide variety of cask ales. From traditional styles to wild and crazy; depending on Brewer Uwe's mood!

Sun Up Seasonal Craft Brews

We always have a revolving selection of seasonal brews. To find out what is currently being offered, or coming soon, call the brewery or ask your server! Our seasonals include this basic family:

• Nut Brown

  A rich chestnut brown color with a nutty roasted malt caramel and chocolate aromas. Often brewed for the holidays, we christened the brew the "Nut Before Christmas".

• Barley Wine

  displays a garnet copper color with flavors of caramel, toffee and a residual, yet, distinct, malty sweetness balancing a fair hop character.

• Armadillo Red

  Deep amber color with a medium caramel malt and fruity-ester aroma. Hop flavor may be intense, but it's balanced with other beer characters.

• Oktoberfest

  a reddish amber, lightly toasted malt aroma, the sweet maltiness balances the crisp hop bitterness.

• Oatmeal Stout

  Rich dark brown with prominent coffee, chocolate & roasted malt barley character. Oats provide it's silky smoothness on the tongue.

• Coffee Porter

  deep ruby-black with a distinct coffee and chocolate malt aromas.

• White Russian

  thick dark brown in color- this Imperial Russian Stout is infused with white Russian coffee.

• Pilsener

  pale straw color, plenty of hop aroma and a crisp German-like malt flavor.

• Double Bock

  copper brown with lightly toasted malt aromas and a slight malt caramel or toffee malt character.

• Scotch Ale

  light-reddish brown with a rich and dominant sweet malt flavor.

• Double IPA

  pale copper brown with a very high fresh and lively hop aroma and a medium malt character.

• Triple IPA

  Triple hopped- first in the brew kettle, second for aroma, and third dry hopped during fermentation- less malty and more hoppy than the double. This is double's wicked older sister. Ask about the Uwenator, if you dare.
