I wouldn't call it great for Lunch.. I will admit we were having a business lunch and the staff was very attentive, however food was cold..

Few years ago this was a great place to grab a steak. Steak was the only thing that was even passable. Start with the drinks. I ordered 3 different margarittas and they all tasted exactly them same, horrible. They now charge extra for the cornbread, which use to come with your meal. My rib-eye was cooked correctly but was a very thin cut. The mushroom sauce was excessive and very sweet?. Mashed potatoes that are served with the steak were instant, dry, and just plain blah. Vegetables were very obviously of the frozen mixed cauliflower, carrots, broccoli variety. We didn't bother with dessert. Will not be going back......

One diner ordered a gluten free dish, but when it came the waiters seemed unsure which plate was gluten-free. In fact, her food was not gluten-free and she had a bad reaction. Be careful if you have allergies or celiac disease.

Great place! Accommodated our reservation change that went from 7 to 14 at 5 minutes before reservation time with no problem. The food was great and service too!

I moved away from Arizona 10 years ago and have not been to a Z'Tejas since. Where I recalled an innovative dining experience I now found a nice but formalistic eatery with somewhat bland food. Frankly l, this is a pricey version of Chili's that is not worth the extra cost.

We had an early dinner before a concert in Tempe. The food was as good as usual. The service was very good. Our waiter was very attentive, and had a great personality. They took care of customers as a team, and were on top of things throughout the meal.

We arrived and were seated promptly. Looking over the menu and the Happy Hour Specials, we had a couple of questions. The waiter answered them and we ordered. When our food arrived, we realized the waiter had given us the incorrect information on portion size. We therefor had over ordered and some of our food went to waste. We mentioned this to the waiter and he said he gave us incorrect information. The margaritas were fantastic. We come to Spring Training every year and make Z'Tejas Tempe one of our stops.

My sister came to visit from Houston and it was Valentine's Day Eve! We had a fabulous dinner and Erica did a great job taking care of us!
