Very enjoyable in a great location Delicious food

Exceptional in every way. I’ve reviewed Ember several times previously and as my visits approach 30 since it opened, I can honestly say it’s the most amazing experience. Cooking over open fire provides a special ambiance. The chefs and front of house team are friendly, knowledgeable and really great. Above all, the food is fabulous. We do small plates dining and share our choices in order to get the best experience. Starters, fish, meats and vegetables are all wonderful - you may need Google to learn about some of the unusual ingredients - or just ask the staff. The menu changes regularly as they take advantage of the best seasonal produce. Leave room for a dessert though. The sticky toffee pudding is very special and always on the menu so it’s a toss up to decide whether to order it or one of the other fabulous puddings.

As per previous visits, my party were welcomed with friendly smiles and a "Can Do" attitude. A simple and effective Menu - the food was served hot and was very good Drinks were quickly served and we were able to conduct the business meting without interruption. I will certainly be using the Fox again and again - Well Done 👏

Very friendly staff and room was lovely. It was quite warm in the room but that is to be expected in a Grade II listed building. The dinners were superb and a lovely atmosphere and view both inside and outside of the restaurant. Beautiful grounds and lovely area to walk around. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Thank you to the wonderful team.

Great service food is well cooked and served nice and hot. Prices are great as well. The bills breakfast is very nice and filling.
