The Kings Arms lies deep in the heart of the East Devon countryside.     One of my favourite dining experiences in Exeter, the seasonal changing menu and the surprise aspect of it means it’s a restaurant that I look forward to returning to in the near future to have a new experience hopefully as equally good as this one. Front of house were friendly and very knowledgeable of the menu and were a credit to the business

    Excellent choices at the bar. Fantastic choices on the menu. I challenge anyone to find fault with the vast menu. The Venison and game stew with herb dumplings was outstanding. The fresh whole Red Mullet was beautiful. Well done everyone at the Kings Arms.

    I go to The Turf quite a lot as I can walk from home. Food is excellent and staff are great. The 4th May was a bank holiday and the weather was sunny so it was heaving with people and the food wait was longer than normal but worth waiting. We booked a table and so glad we did otherwise you wouldn’t have got a seat inside.
