Mit Tischreservierung vorab via Open Table wird man sehr freundlich begrüßt und der Service ist rundum perfekt, ob man Beratung benötigt oder nicht. Die Speisekarte hält für jeden Geschmack und Geldbeutel (2 Gang mit Auswahl ab 20,95 GBP, Hauptgänge allein ab ca 20 GBP, Vorspeisen und Desserts ab 12 GBP) und alles war super-lecker und vielfach mit überraschendem Twist. Aperitifs klassisch oder kreativ, Cocktails ebenso. ABER: neben bestem Essen, tollen Drinks und sehr nettem, zuvorkommendem Service gibt es noch das spektakuläre Restaurantdesign im 1920er-Jahre Stil mit Pflanzen, Bäumen und herrlicher Wanddeko. Allein dafür lohnt der Besuch! Also hin da, wir würden jederzeit sehr gerne wieder ins The Ivy Liverpool gehen. Es war ein durchweg tolles Erlebnis. Liebe Ivy-Crew, weiter so und herzlichen Dank.

Es war sehr gelungen, leckeres Essen, toll präsentiert. Wir wurden zur Bar gebeten weil unser Tisch noch nicht fertig war. Aus den genannten 5Minuten wurden eine halbe Stunde und der Drink an der Bar den wir selbstverständlich bezahlen mussten, dauerte 20 Minuten. endlich am Tisch surge mir ziemlich bald leckeres glutenfreies Brot gereicht. Mein 3 Begleitenden mussten aber bis zum Servieren der Vorspeise auf reguläres Brot warten.!!!??? Das Essen selbst war sehr lecker und überzeugte in allem Der Service an manchen Punkten unaufmerksam.
Das Restaurant The Ivy ist schon seit 1917 eine feste Größe der Londoner Restaurant- und Ausgehszene. Das Restaurant und der private Saal im ersten Stock sind der Inbegriff von wahrem Glamour. Die schillernde zentrale Bar im Restaurant zieht bewundernde Blicke auf sich. Die unverkennbaren Buntglasfenster mit ihren Harlekinen, die Vertäfelung aus Eichenholz und die bemerkenswerte Sammlung zeitgenössischer Kunst machen diese sehr britische Institution unter den Restaurants zu einem zeitlosen Klassiker. Der leitende Küchenchef Gary Lee schafft ausgewogene Menüs der Saison mit Klassikern des Ivy und einem Gefühl für den Geschmack von heute. Dazu gehören mehr asiatische Gerichte, Salate und Gemüse sowie die Einführung der neuen Kategorie "Meer und Muscheln". Der Geschäftsführer Fernando Peire sorgt dafür, dass sein starkes und erfahrenes Team den tadellosen Service bietet, mit dem sich das Ivy im Laufe der Jahre einen Namen gemacht hat. Es ist beliebt bei Theaterbesuchern, die vor und nach den Vorstellungen hier einkehren und es zieht eine treue Kundschaft aus der Kunst- und Medienszene und darüber hinaus an.

Es war sehr gelungen, leckeres Essen, toll präsentiert. Wir wurden zur Bar gebeten weil unser Tisch noch nicht fertig war. Aus den genannten 5Minuten wurden eine halbe Stunde und der Drink an der Bar den wir selbstverständlich bezahlen mussten, dauerte 20 Minuten. endlich am Tisch surge mir ziemlich bald leckeres glutenfreies Brot gereicht. Mein 3 Begleitenden mussten aber bis zum Servieren der Vorspeise auf reguläres Brot warten.!!!??? Das Essen selbst war sehr lecker und überzeugte in allem Der Service an manchen Punkten unaufmerksam.
